Like Diving Bonaire? Like Sea Turtles? Like Google Earth? Great!

Since working a previous career where I worked on GIS projects and combined traditional tools with Google Earth, I’ve frequently just loaded Google Earth to explore the world.

Thanks to a Google Earth Outreach Developer Grant, the Wider Caribbean Sea Turtle Conservation Network has been tracking Jklynn, a female Hawksbill sea turtle during her migration period.

They’ve even developed a game using the Google Maps API to raise awareness amongst middle and high school students in Bonaire.
