Welcome to 2010

Just when everyone was about to stop saying “Happy New Year”, I’m back to throw it in your face. As much as I would love to say it was great to be away, I never really went anywhere, I’ve simply spent less time on the computer for the last almost-week.

I’ve already conquered one of my goals for 2010 (It’s twenty-ten. You didn’t say nineteen hundred and ninety-nine, did you?), now it’s time to get back on track with the rest.

My Not-So-World-Dominating Plan

I’ve come to the realization that many of you independent SCUBA instructors, dive shop owners and resort operators have little to now clue about how to effectively use and tie together Twitter, Facebook, email marketing and a blog (just like the huge players). That’s perfectly fine, internet marketing hasn’t been your life for the past 10 years. Consider yourself lucky.

It’s a new year, a grand re-opening and I’m going to start at the beginning. I’m going to explain the Why’s behind taking our local SCUBA business online. I’m going to explain the How’s to getting started and connecting all of our tools for a broad-reaching online persona.

And you’re coming with me.

Like usual, I am open to suggestions, special requests or questions, so please let me know if there’s something you’d like to know more about. This site is about you, not me.
